Structured cabling is building or campus telecommunications cabling infrastructure that consists of a number of standardized smaller elements called subsystems. We have extensive experience in designing, installing and maintaining the hardware and cabling in commercial settings.

Telco

We install and maintain the backbone for telecommunications systems. POTS to VoIP conversions, T-1 extensions, making cross connections for new lines are just a few examples of our role in the Telco world.

Closed Circuit TV (CCTV)

Our company can design, install, and maintain a variety of types of CCTV and security camera systems. Our clients range from a small shop owner needing a few cameras for internal security, to large warehouses and manufacturing facilities needing multiple cameras on a system that is remotely accessible.

About Us

HCES, LLC and its d/b/a Midwest Technology Cabling offer a variety of commercial information technology and structured cabling services. For over 15 years, we have provided professional installation services with integrity. Our extensive experience includes large and small-scale low-voltage networks and structured cabling installations utilizing Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6a, and fiber optic cable. We can design and customize your network to your specifications and individual needs. Please see our Services page for more specific information. 

We also excel in performing large—and small-scale CCTV installation and repair projects, including digital IP, analog, indoor/ outdoor, and HD systems. Whether we provide the system or you already have one, we are adaptable to your needs and can provide the necessary assistance. Our expertise extends beyond cabling and IT services. 

We can also help install and repair digital signage, video and audio systems. From large multi- screen walls to individual panels as well as multiple speaker systems, our extensive experience installing them all ensures you receive the highest quality service. 

We are a family-owned and veteran-operated business based in Terre Haute, IN, but we have traveled extensively to provide quality service with integrity. Our knowledge base means that our customers have many options when deciding on a project.

A/V, Soundsystems, Digital Displays

Our technicians are also experienced in a/v systems including projection systems and audio systems in commercial settings. From simple repairs to an existing system to designing a system to fit your needs, we cover it all. Our techs have installed various digital display systems, from very large scale video walls at well-known Indiana colleges, to small digital menu boards in local restaurants and retail locations.

Fiber Optic Cable

Midwest Technology Cabling is one of a few service providers to offer fiber optic cable installation and testing. We have the necessary tools and experience to serve your needs. We can assist in the design and planning of your network and then help install and maintain your new system. We can also certify both multimode and single mode fibers giving printable pdf documentation.

Cable Certification

Midwest Technology Cabling offers cable certification for cat 5e and cat 6 network cables, with printed PDF results. This is an extra step in the installation process that customers can choose, which uses a cable analyzer to test, troubleshoot and achieve optimal performance of new high performance cabling installations.

Data Recovery

We now offer data recovery! We can often recover, images, documents and other files you may have lost. Contact us and we can arrange to recover your data here at our office.

With great sadness we wish to remember Lu Chowning who passed away in May 2023. 

She was the glue that held us together for so long and kept our business running smoothly. She was our administrator for many years but more importantly she was Paul and Kathi’s beloved mother.
